After a bit of a tough 2014 Hogmannay was a wee bit bitter sweet for us as a family this year, but we've got through it ready for the new challenges that no doubt 2015 will bring!
So here's my first card of the year for the Anything Goes/New Beginnings challenge over at Creative Moments.

So here's my card and I was lucky enough to be able to use one of the images from Zap Pow Designs
I made my card a 5 3/4" square from Paper Mill Direct white linen cardstock. I added in some of their purple grape for matting and layering, which I got back in the bricks and mortar shop days but I actually don;t know if they still carry this - good thing I stocked up! The patterned papers are a Crafts Beautiful freebie called "The Spring Paper Craft Collection". I coloured my image using Faber-Castell Polychromo Pencils and finished it off with some Crystal Stickles. The 4mm gems are from Sonas Made
