Words of Wisdom (Apparantly!)
Brilliant day at work today chatting to some lovely customers! I have shared some tips about how I use my paper stash a few times this week and customers seem to think it was helpful so I am going to share...let me know what you think!
TIP 1!
When you have bought your pack of patterned paper take one sheet of each design out of the pack and add to a seperate stash somewhere else...you then have a working pile left that you know is never the last sheet of something and you will be much less precious with your papers and might actually use them instead of just stroking them! I use my seperate special stash of "last pieces" for my scrapbook and my "working pile" for card making and papercrafting.
TIP 2!
Take the front cover of your paper stack and write the price you paid for the stack on it, punch a hole in the top corner and store on a book ring...this will make it easier for you pricing any cards you make to sell accurately, and as the covers normal have a snapshot of each pattern on them, you will always have a record of the brand & range of paper for when you someone asks and you have inevitably forgoten!
Are these any help or are our customers just being nice? lol!
A couple of quick cards now...

Do Crafts Goody Bag
Evening all...it looks like I'm getting into a wee blogging routine now...hope I can keep up with making things to put on here! Mega busy day at work today but feel like I achieved LOADS which is always good. Busy evening with Daisy too so just really sitting down just now at 20 past ten...and it all starts again at half seven in the morning. It's weekends like this I really really kinda wish I drank coffee!
Here's some cards for today which I made with the "male" orientated goody bag from do crafts last promotion...loved these die cut decoupage in the kit.

This one is a stepper card, didnt come out too clearly in the pic and didn't think to take the picture from the side at the time! Doh! Sorry people!
The wee cutie in these cards just reminded me of something that happened last night...had my 18mth old nephew for a wee while and he's just learned his animal noises so we were going through them...cow, sheep, monkey, which were all fab, then he came to pig and he replied "nee naw nee naw nee naw" siren style! Hasn't done it before or since but was hysterical at time! Was kinda mortified though! A comedian at such a young age! He managed to mortify his mum in the supermarket too...sitting in trolley and someones phone rang - he put his phone up to his ear and shouted "hello, hello" at the top of his month! Ah toddlers! Such great fun!

Scrap Challenge!
Evening all! 3 blog entries in 3 days! Think it's a record for me!
Hope this finds you all happy, contented, cosy & safe tonight in light of recent UK events...my love & thoughts are with anyone who's been affected by recent happenings which isn't enough but is all I have. xx
Right on with the days creations...Daisys homework task this week was to create a fish, and we were feeling inspired as my classes this week were on paper scraps. I pulled out the bag with all the scraps and the punch and we got to work...pretty impressed with the outcome I have to say!
We drew around a plate for the body, and free drew hearts for the tail and mouth.
And here are some more grown up offerings from the scrap bag...large circle is inside of ds tape, small circles were an SU punch, and the butterfly is the xcut dimension one. Papers are the GCD Paris Nights collection...
This is a little craftrak card done with the paris nights papers teamed up with a Bo Bunny blue spotty paper...
More Bo Bunny spots...
Some shabby chic this time - I free drew this heart and rounded the ends of some paper strips, then "Shabbied up" the whole lot with a purple chalk cats eye pad. Papers this time are the new basic collection from Dovecraft...
A wee shabby house using papers from Dovecraft & Bo Bunny, again distressed with the same ink and teamed with the little xcut folksy heart punches...
Shabby yet again (lol i was on a shabbying roll!)...same Dovecraft papers again. Used the Stampng Up Scalloped circle punch and cut a section out to make these 3d, then cut a smaller circle which I cut into a spiral and glued snail fashion (No idea if that makes sense to anyone elses brain!)...
And that, my dears is your lot for this evening...same time and place tomorrow evening do you think? :-D

Here's a few more cards for you (2 posts in 2 days, can you believe it lol!)
I used some paper scraps and a buzzcraft stamp for this one. I coloured the image with my trusty pencils...
An easel card this time with papers from an issue of Creative Cardmaking & some American Craft ribbon...

I LOVE this next stamp from the Kars Ollyfant range...I particularly love her wooly socks. Coloued with 3 promarkers - cool grey 1, 3 & 5...
The same stamp again in colour this time...forgot to take a note of which pens I used for this one...have learned my lesson & won't make the same mistake again!!!!
